Greg Abbey and Dan Green had a duel as Yusei and Yami Yugi at the Nationals in Pennsylvania over the summer.

This was based off of that... just... very very late finishing it... OTL

This should have been the final duel of the series, not the one between Yusei and Jack. Think about it, Ushio or Trudge in the English version, was one of Yugi's classmates and in the same age group. That means that Yugi was alive during the time of 5D's and more than likely, in his early 30's like Ushio. That means that Yusei and the others could have meet Yugi and even Judai if they really wanted to and that also means that Yugi could have been Yusei's true final opponent. But then again, looking at all the plot holes in the series of 5D's, you can tell the storyline was a "Make-as-you-go" kinda story. If they would have taken some time to really plan it out from start to finish, it probably could have topped the original series but as it stands, its a close second.
