I have no idea where to start cuz like it was a mess of people, celebs, awesome creators, and like LINES

My comic-con was basically running around trying to get things for friends and some freebies as well as autographs. I couldn't get into anything in ballroom 20 or Hall H (i.e. Korra, Once Upon a Time, Fringe etc panels) because people were literally SLEEPING OVERNIGHT IN LINE to get into panel that day and like SQUATTING THROUGH EARLY PANELS FOR THE BIG ONES IN THE AFTERNOON.

Specific booths:

Kotobikuya had the Kaiba figure on display (release date is now September O_O)
...I don't know why they decided to put a backlight in their display, it messed up my phone camera

Kotobikuya had the yami yugi on display as well as one-coin and the yu yu hakusho figures as well on display. Other side was like... their comic book artfx series and upcoming releases.

Konami was like... half-video games and half-yugioh

uhhh big points:
1. No Tag Force 6 (at least through 2012)
2. No WCS 2012
3. "Yugioh Decade Duel" for the PSN and XBLA later this year
4. It was konami Japan that redid the yugioh tcg logo
5. No word on Yugioh Anime dubbing by konami (yet)

Wizards of the Coast is working with Hasbro on this one and... like... I guess it's supposed to be a different universe from Duel Masters but the game mechanics is almost the same to Duel Masters (even some of the card art is EXACTLY THE SAME) but overall it seems like pretty straightforward card game, but I don't know why it feels like for Wizards they are set on the "mana" game mechanic... looking at the anime they had playing it felt like Chaotic... e_e;;;;; I don't know... I guess I will wait to watch the first episode...

Highlights: DERPY FORT (All the figures are going to good brony homes in NorCal), Andrew Hussie (MSPA), Seth Green (Thought I was "Space Unicorn" when I was cosplaying Vinyl Scratch xD), Bill Amend (Fox Trot), Joe Ng (UDON ent),

I also picked up 's new sketchbook ;u; it's great! (I swear I am not stalking him just it was kinda funny we were in the same hotel O_o)

It was great to finally be able to meet and hang out with them for dinner ^u^/ I am glad you guys were able to make it, and thanks again for the ride/meal

Panels:

JManga panel was pretty interesting, they're basically doing a great job saving some of these "limbo" titles that are that way due to the collapse of certain publishing companies. I hope they will pick up broccoli press and moyashimon. Jmanga will get some kodansha and del Rey and tokyopop titles some are still being serialized.

Honestly one of the high points was the Shonen Jump panel (heck just Shonen Jump overall) cuz like... not only did they bring a really insightful cast of editors to the con but they GAVE OUT FREE ICE CREAM OMG that was like... perfect cuz it was like... 85 and yessss I asked after the panel about if it was "Atem" or "Atemu" and the unofficial answer is it's Pharaoh "Atem" based off the Egyptian god, Atum. source: mr. The panel was really insightful, there's a video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ov00N8… and it was really cool how each panelist kinda talked about the origins for each show, like how yugioh is like "fighting without actual fighting" and you know... this:


Sony's "Unfinished Swan" panel was right before SJ's panel so I got to see it and honestly it looks very interesting and fun, like it reminds me of Epic Mickey but from SCRATCH and also very unique!

MLP Panel was SO MUCH FUN!!! omg the VAs were wonderful and hasbro is so cool for showing that preview song ;u;

Quite frankly I was disappointed with the gaiaonline panel (it was a joke...) and like... i don't know why they are making so many games and they've basically abandoned zOMG... (security should've kicked out/checked the troll questioning guy because he must've been high)
like... just when DJ Lanzer asked "how many of you use alchemy?" (one person raises hand)... ouch
He should've asked "how many of you play zOMG" instead...

The other panels I went to were how-to and drawing improvement panels and I really enjoyed those and learned quite a few things!
I couldn't make it into Grimm, Korra, Once Upon a Time, Mythbusters, True Blood, Butch Hartman, or like Adventure Time panels...

uhhh... I will have to first put up the awesome posters I got this year before I can take pics so watch this spot/my tumblr for the pic when I am done, lol!) but basically awesome MLP motivational posters, Dark Matters poster, Hunger Games, uhhh...

I was able to do a few portfolio reviews and got really helpful advice/feedback, so i'm kinda planning to go into a "training arc" now xD

I hope I can get tickets for next year, cuz even though I wasn't able to go to like... half the panels I wanted to, I still had a blast and a lot of fun (just... not going to try for exclusives next year because omfgwhy)
